VISOCOLOR® ECO Chloride • Colorimetric determination of chloride • Chloride ions react with mercuric thiocyanate to produce undissociated mercuric chloride and to liberate thiocyanate ions. • In the presence of ferric salts these thiocyanate ions produce a characteristic orange colour.
