Photometric determination of phenol. • Photometric determination with diazotized 4-nitroaniline. • Phenol reacts with diazotised 4-nitroaniline to form a red dye. The colour can fluctuate between yellow, brown and red with other phenols. In addition to phenol most phenol derivatives are determined, too. • Type: standard test 1-75. • Range: 10 mm cuvette: 0.1 - 7.0 mg/l Phenol ; 50 mm cuvette: 0.01 - 1.00 mg/l Phenol. • Sufficient for: 440 determinations. • Sea water suitability: yes, after dilution (1:10).
